Butter, eggs, bread, bandages and a Claim form…. what the??!!?

The attached article below just hit my inbox. I’m not really surprised by it, however it shocks the living daylights out of me that Coles (yes, the Supermarket) can sell or provide Life Insurance to its customers. ARE YOU SERIOUS???!!

The article outlines certain benefits that you are eligible for such as:

– Price beat guarantee

– FlyBuys points

– 60 sec quotes

– Up to $1 million of cover (no financials or medicals of course)

and a few other little perks.

The first thing that came ...

Putting it off can be worse than sucking it up…

You may remember last July I held an event for the ladies about having a back up plan. My guest speaker was Dylan Shiel (player #5 for Greater Western Sydney GIANTS – AFL), and a client of mine. The theme of the night was around the idea that you need to have some sort of back up plan. For example, Dylan’s back up plan is that he is studying Business and ultimately wants to get in to the property game. ...

“Who you gonna call?”….

…. Tatiana or a call centre?

This is the question (obviously articulated in the Queen’s English…) that I ask my clients and prospects when they tell me they already have insurance in place, or question why they should engage my services. There is nothing wrong if you are already protected…  in fact, I’m very happy to hear that people have taken the time to protect themselves from the unknown, but my concern is around people who have either lost contact or ...

And you thought you were having a bad day…

This week I came across the most amazing man (lets call him Mike) who needs my  help, and I wanted to share his story with you because he is an absolute inspiration.

I received an email from a client of mine asking me for a favour. She said in her email that a friend of hers needs some help with his Insurance inside his company’s Super fund. I knew straight away that this was going to be a case where this ...

The coward punch….

Posted by:

It is almost frightening to listen to the news on a Sunday morning when virtually every weekend there is a story about a coward punch. The Australia Day long weekend saw two more reports from Orange and Bondi Beach. From all accounts these young victims were innocent by-standers … and even if they weren’t I can’t think of any sort of behaviour which would deserve a coward punch and subsequently causing great harm to the victim or even death.

On a ...

Sometimes we need to prioritise our priorities…

Welcome back to the New Year! I can’t believe it is almost Australia Day already. 2014 has certainly started to fly by!

You may remember one of my previous blogs before Christmas where I suggested you book your appointment with me sooner rather than later, so that we can get your NY resolutions up and running.

I have had quite a few new clients book appointments for this reason, so it has been a great start to the year.

One thing that I ...

Christmas is a time for giving…

Posted by:

Hello everyone, can you believe it is just over a week until Christmas, and we will be ringing in the new year in a fortnight?

What I love about Christmas is how everyone and everything is so festive, and people are thinking about spending time with their families and looking forward to the joy of giving. Christmas definitely brings out everyone’s generous side a little more.

I came across the story and video in the link below via a friends Facebook post, ...

Health? Wealth? What is your NY resolution?

Posted by:

Gosh, I can’t believe it has been well over a month since my last post. So much for trying to get one out to you weekly, but it has been just frantically busy these last few weeks. Most small businesses I speak with seem to be equally busy, and we are not sure if it is the sign of the economy/ consumer spending improving, or the fact that the election is finally over, or what ever else it could be. ...

Backing a winner…

Posted by:

I am really proud of the industry that I work in, and have met some amazing Financial Planners in my time. Some of which I call upon quite regularly for their opinions and guidance. Having said this though, it really frustrates me to hear how some people feel as though they have been hard done by by their Financial Planner. I’m not necessarily speaking about poor investment choices or high fees, it is more around not receiving the service they ...
